Forest Lake Uniting Church commenced in 1992 when 6 people started worshiping together. The group met together in a school class room in Richlands. When the now St. Johns Anglican College was built (previously called Forest Lake College) they moved their worship service to the College. The group became a congregation officially in 1995. Since that time there has been a steady growth of the Church. Today we are a thriving church building relationship with God and serving the community.

Our values derive from the Uniting Church enabling us to build our relationship with GOD almighty. Our values include:

    Dinners of 8 (Fellowship in each others homes)

    Rev Russell joined the Forest Lake congregation in 2011 as our Minister, He has a children and youth worker background and has been ordained for 15 years. He has and easy going nature and a commitment to serving the community. He longs for people to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

    Our church is governed by a Church Council. The chairperson is Mr Greg Braithwaite. Greg has chaired the congregation over the past 2 years and is committed to the local church and community.

    Mrs Lorraine Christian is our Op shop Manager . She heads up the vital work of co-ordinating volunteers and ensuring the shop is running efficiently. Lorraine has been serving in this role for 2 years.
