Bible Reading and Reflection

John 9: 24 So for the 2nd time Indeed God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world , but in order that the world might be saved through him.they called the man who had been blind, and they said to him, ” Give glory to God! We know that this man is a sinner.” The blind man answered , ” I do not know whether this man is a sinner. One thing I know is that I was blind but now I see.”

Reflection

I was blind but now I see. These are very powerful words and pay testament to ther transforming poower of God at work in this man’s life. You cannot argue with testimony.  Testimony is the experience of another.  This man who was blind from birth regains his sight and in so doing discovers that Jesus is more than a man but the son of God.

There is more than physical blindness , there is also spiritual blindness whereby people fail to grasp who Jesus is.  To those who fail to grasp who Jesus is I invite you to look  around. He is the life change and  the life giver.

Prayer : May we all gain insight and discover the reality of who God is.
